So, yes, these are very pretty desserts and that's pretty much it. Pricey, not delicious (they looked much better than how they tasted), and bad bubble teas (matcha and Thai). We (2 people) also had to wait to be sit even though 6 sits were available. I think I'll come back to try two more dishes, but it's definitely not remarkable. It just looks nice. Moreover, they hired "actors" for their commercial, displayed on a large TV, one of which looked like a porn star… It's all about appearance and less about the actual substance. Kinda disappointed.
They have a very affordable tapas set for groups. The desserts are very fantastical but too sweet for my tastebuds. My favorite is the ORANGE and the YUZU desserts. The ambience doesn't do the prettiness of the desserts justice. Feels a bit fast food but maybe the reason why it's affordable. No line before 9 but started to get crowded after 10 on a Monday night.
Always so yummy! Staff is always super friendly and fast. Love coming here with my girlfriend or even small groups. They have great deals for buying several tapas desserts, as well as some booze options. Love this place.
I think I tried every single dessert in this place and every single one of them is yum yum yummy! The presentation is beautiful and their staff is always nice! My all time favorite is their toast! P.S. If you like me and eat sweets on a daily basis don't forget to get stamps at this place so you can get a free dessert
This dessert place is great. The desserts were so pretty yet I don't think they were tapas sized, so I guess if you like your dessert big you can come here too. All I know is that each dessert had great flavor, great look in a cozy atmosphere. The potted cheese cake is by far one there best creations and most unique. :)
Ahh, if you're a wine lover, what's not to like. Basically you walk in and you're in a line. As you walk through the line you're looking at the wines that are available, and there are plenty of them. Although they didn't have the particular wines I was looking at, their cheaper wines can be right on the money.
Absolutely love it here! The wine is the best value I've found anywhere in the city, my favorite is a Chilean Merlot for under $6! The wine tasting is a little bit of fun although bit of a pain having to present ID but still worth it :) Great variety, the flavored prosecco is also delicious. My favorite is the Pink Moscato with a beautiful bottle - perfect to gift. They also provide pretty individual bottle bags. Great layout, awesome value & plenty of choice. Wish they did free delivery to my area!
What’s not to love? Super helpful staff, a huge variety of wines, and very affordable. Even if you’re not sure what you want, here is somebody there to give you an honest recommendation. The line always looks long but it goes quickly.
Large selection of wines! Wide range of prices - from $3 to >$40. Fast service.. very busy place so we thought it would be a long wait at check-out, but the line moved extremely fast. Friendly staff. As an added bonus, they had free wine tasting. Would definitely go here again and stock up!
I think this Kmart needs to be closed down permanently. After the remodel, things just got worse, employees got younger, more incompetent and unhelpful. The only thing still good about this place is that they have stuff to sell. Employees are extremely rude and nasty.
Don't come here unless you've got a couple hours to spend in the checkout line. It's like they weren't happy with how badly they've been doing, and this store is the result of a brainstorming session on how they could do worse. Worst retail experience I've ever had.
Huge store with a lot of variety. You can find snow shovels or mechanical tools even furniture. I had a vacation to my childhood on the lower level toy section. Prices are reasonable but they used to be more cheaper. They're still cheap anyway. You can find almost anything in that store. Also, make sure you know other available prices for what you're looking for. Everything is not that cheap at the end.
3 floors store. Has a lot of household things, some furniture, lots of clothing and some groceries. Overall good experience and cheap prices but if you're ordering online and picking up your order here - double check what's in a bag because in half of my orders they would miss something or replace one item for another. But they are always friendly and helpful to resolve any issues.
Absolutely adore this place. I think about half of my windowsill garden is from it. They have great prices and I was helped happily when looking for a fern on the smaller side. All the seeds I've gotten from them have grown easily. A fantastic local business and well appreciated. Whenever I need some new pots or plants to add to my collection, I check here first.
With their condescending staff and utter lack of customer service you’d be a fool to bring your business here, but even if you try they may refuse to acknowledge you at the register.
Walk down to ace, they actually know what they’re saying and have reasonable pricing.
Great produce and central location!
Edit: produce and goods often out of stock at peak times. Employees seem rushed, and help hasn't been as great. Disappointing. Hopefully these are simply growing pains with the Amazon transition.
The checkout line system is 👌never seen anything like that.. super efficient and neat with the color coding and numbering system! Also very nice upstairs seating area with panoramic views of the surrounding area
Super nice staff!!! Their staff has knowledge at their finger tips and there is always someone to help you out. Honestly makes grocery shopping better. I also enjoy their upstairs eating area - spacious and relaxed.
This is a very large, brand new Whole Foods. They have all the usual suspects to buy in their well-organized aisles. They also have a variety of take-out food options, including Chego, and there is a nice selection of wines and beer.
The best thing about this location is their signature bar and restaurant. It's a great little respite enclosed within the store with happy hour drink specials and daily food specials. It's worthy of a trip in and of itself.
Wonderful selection of books organized by political and social significance; there are so many tea options and the lemonade is great. Theres seating and plenty of people watching perfect for a rainy or cool day.
I freakin love this store and always stop by any time in NYC to check out their books and their zine collection which is always my fave! They also sell cool buttons, eco menstrual pads, patches, diva cups, cool cards, used books and food! Awesome place with lot of cool stuff, friendly staff and it's located in a pretty cool area too.
Fantastic bookstore with great culture and super helpful staff. Really interesting cultural events always ongoing and a tasty cafe with fantastic vegan options. Highly recommend for people who are looking to support local business, progressive politics, or help the neighborhood.
I have never felt so at home in a space. The bookstore is incredible-- every title I could possibly dream of related to social justice and advocacy. The zine selection is great. The snacks are tasty and CHEAP for NYC. I'm sad I only went once in my time in the city. GO support this lovely activist hub! Note: no wifi and only a few working tables, but settle down with a book or have a great conversation. Technology isn't always the answer. :)
Former employee and by far the worst place I’ve ever worked at . Horrible management, treat workers like slaves . Definitely have power issues , lacks on business management skills with team . Store operstaions are disorganized. Everything is just a big mess and they continuously get away with everything. Wouldn’t recommend to work , shopping eh . New hires lack knowledge of store . However old hires are the best thing the store has and never gets the real acknowledgement deserved .
It's a store geared towards young people for sure so you have to spend a bit of time to find something appropriate. I dont recommend it for people in their 30s. I have found a couple of clothes from the shop but dont count of the quality. If you are looking for casual, trendy, and affordable clothes and accessories it is great.
Hate this Forever 21. Not a good selection and the customer service here is non-existent. It is probably the worst out of all stores in SoHo. Employees are extremely abrasive towards customers and even their own products being on the floor. Seeing employees walk right over fallen product shows they will show even less care towards you. Also, they have registers on the main floor, but you are forced to use the ones downstairs and wait on unorganized and long lines. Been here twice, just in case I came on a bad day, but nope, never shopping here again.
My boyfriend and I have always had great customer service. I just wanted to commend the gentleman (possible 30's) who helped my boyfriend and I (also 3 others before us) on Monday. It was Nick Lachey hot outside (99) and he diligently got a cart, picked up the air conditioner, place them in the cart, and instructed each and every one of us how to care for it on our way home. Then upon purchasing was the lovely Indrit. He was such a pleasant and helpful registrar that I even shook his hand on the way out. Keep up the outstanding service gents. You made this cranky, hot and sweaty couples day!!!!
An amazing place for home supplies. Anything but furniture to keep your home scene well stocked with the latest gadgets, linen, and more... Fun store, great assistance, and good prices... BUT avoid their pricey cafe: A bottle of water that's $1 at a local deli, it's $2.50 here... Wow!!!
This location can go from easy going and enjoyable to crazy and entirely irritating depending on the day and time. The staff is always nice and helpful. The real downside is rush hour at this location. And definitely stay away during college move in time when things are so crazy you’d rather take a subway trip with your stuff from a further location than deal with the madness at this one.
Another plus is the food section here. Really it’s just a guessing game of what you’ll get in terms of busyness.
One of the best supply store in the whole city better than most of the big name. I.C.E. inc have been shopping here for over 20 years since the first location in Brooklyn. Premium prices but will get all you need and want.
If you know what you need and are familiar with tools and materials this is the best place to get stuff if you need it same day, if you don’t know what you want search online until you find it and get it that way, this is not the place to browse.
I been one of the best costumers by LV .
Purchased yesterday a little wallet for 430$
Was looking foreword for some small things.
The lady was, very prejudiced I guess.
Because I had a huge Target bag with me. I mean it doesn’t mean I’m just window shopping there because I buy me groceries on Target!!!
Should I go to WoleFoods and got ripped!!!
Forget about it!
When she recognized that I really look for something to buy, than she started to smile !!!!!!
I should leave that moment.
But I purchased it.
Not nice! Not friendly.
But LV is such a dream love you LV
Derek Wong in the New York Herald Sq store was very attentive and helpful. He helped me purchase the purse I really wanted. He was very responsive and gave excellent customer service. He shipped my purse over night and sent me confirmation for follow up. Make sure you go see him!
Terrible customer service at the Louis Vuitton store. Gift was sent to me by a family member without ANYTHING! No gift receipt, no return label, nothing! I didn’t even know who the gift was from!
I called every day for 10 days, multiple times a day and they refuse to exchange the item for me. (I live on the other side of the country)
You should be reported to LV headquarters.
Had a great experience at the store this past Black Friday. Today was the first time I have ever been in a LV store. From the moment Saroeun approached us, she had us laughing until we left the store. The entire building was packed with people and she had probably been on her feet all day but regardless she was kind and attentive to all of our needs. She didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all even when I didn't know the proper names and pronunciations. Amazing customer service. I left there with my first LV item and a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. Thank you!
The customer service is really good, they are willing to help, one employee gave me a coupon. It's good to know that the coupons do not work on regular priced items, just on the ones that already have some kind of discount. They have tailoring services for the items you purchase at Macy's. The price will vary depending on how soon you want your item back.
You can't miss this out. Macy's is a main shopping destination for anyone that happens to be in New York. You would get most of the popular brands there at a very good prices. Don't forget to mention that you are a visitor to avail a special discount. You would spend hours and hours and may be come back again. You will never be done. You will get almost everything in one place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They would always ask you where are you visiting from. I personally visit Macy's every summer when I visit New York.
Big! You'll get lost. On each floor there's a few different sections. Might be confusing. Just go around everywhere. There's also a food side. The gift shop is small, so not a lot to see in here if you are looking for souvenirs. The people are not the most friendly neither. Overall good.
Went to buy a dress shirt I saw online. They don't allow you to try the specific shirt on, but they have shirts of equivalent sizes to try on from the same brand placed in front of the changing room (which could use some expansion because there's only 2 rooms in the dress shirt section). The sales staff was helpful and the shirts were well organised by brands. There wasn't much of a line for check out.
All in all, about what you'd expect from shopping in a flagship Macy's (with less people unless you're into handbags).
This store is very iconic for many reasons. It’s been around for many years and it’s the largest Macy’s store. If you need a snack, there’s places inside the store to get some. They also have a huge selection of clothing, shoes, handbags, etc. It’s also a great place to shop as well. I’ve always loved coming here ever since I could remember. Even around Christmas time, there’s gorgeous window displays that everyone has to see.
They are closing the store in January. I am still in shock because it is a beautiful store and so great with their discounts. I highly recommend shopping at this store while you still can 😭 I have for the past 25+ years...
I Love & Taylor. I have shopped here for mamy, many years. I have bought beautiful hats, clothing and jewelry from this store.
Their merchandise is great, their staff is great.
I have never been disappointed when shopping here.
I received a letter from Lord & Taylor telling me they will be closing their 39th street store in New York City. Will be closing in the early part of 2019. I am extremely disappointed by this.
I have enjoyed shopping here for so long.
I give Lord &Taylor a 5 star rating.
Huge store, great collection anytime of the year.
Wide variety of apparel & accessory brands to choose from. Best place to shop 'in-fashion' articles.
Home to exquisite attire for both men & women.
A must visit, one-stop shopping destination in New York City.
This place is insane! I went here cause I'm fat and wanted to go Fat Girl Shopping with my friend. They have like a whole floor of Fat Girl Clothes! It's really great. I'd like it more if they also had talls cause we are both 6' tall. But I was grateful to be able to get quality Fat Clothes. They have some casual, mid, and formal. Some very formal too. Whatever you need.
I have to say that I was appalled by the horrific service I received in the shoe department. The two saleswoman I dealt with were beyond rude. I asked on woman if she can help me find a basic black sandal with low or no heel. She waved her hand and said whatever you see on the floor is what we have. I searched the floor and found two pairs and brought them to another saleswoman. When I asked her if she can help me she said what time is it. I told her 8:35. She proceeds to tell me, with an attitude that she can only help me with the two pairs because it's late. I tell her I have one more pair I want to grab and ask her where that particular brand is. She goes over there. I said what's over there and she gives me a dirty look and waves her hand. I couldn't have been kinder and had s very hard time understanding why nobody was willing to help me. I finally find the other pair and come.back to her with the two original and the third pair I mentioned to her. As I'm walking towards her, because she told me she'd be over there and I should find her, she says with serious attitude, how many pairs do you have?! I tell her one more like I told you. She roles her eyes and says, this is it after this pair. I then had to wait 10 minutes for her to come out and say she didn't have two of the pairs. I asked about the third and she says, I don't know, they haven't come out yet. You can wait if you want. Again, the experience was horrific and I don't think I will ever visit that location again.
It has come a long way a lot of shopping store's you have some homeless people there but it's New York so you deal whit but train's are right at your fingertips when I'm there waiting for the LIRR it's always a nice slace of 🍕 and ice cold 🍺 can't go wrong with that for the most part pennstaion serves the purpose 🍕🍻home
Seventh circle of hell. This it's the last stage of any video game you've ever played. It's where the bridge and tunnel crowd all merge to create a collective blemish unto humanity. But seriously the place has a horrible floor plan, all the transit lines are mixed into each other causing a clusterfudge at peak hours. And forget about getting out of the subway on the weekend. It's alabyrinth if locked doors.
I teacher through here too go to and from NYC. The facility needs a renovation and has a serious homeless problem. There needs to be something fine to reduce panhandlers, the mentally ill, and straight out bums from populating the station at all hours of the night. The police seem to take a relaxed stance rather than remove them, perhaps because they simply don't care. Grand Central is nicer. Try to travel through there if possible.
A knowledgeable sales associate named Paul helped me to find two items. He was so helpful, it was a pleasure to shop here. My experience checking out at the customer service desk, however, marred an almost perfect shopping experience. The cashier had an attitude, but that was her problem not mine. It would be nice if the store had more retail associates like Paul and less like the one at the customer service register..
Good stock. Friendly helpful associates. Easy going shopping environment. Total opposite of the frenzy and chaos in the Chelsea store. If you're downtown in Tribeca, shop this store before you shop Chelsea. The location is not as central as Chelsea and it's a smaller store but you will save your sanity and get good customer service. Check store stock availability online before you go. It's a wise move.
Best BBB store in Manhattan. It's huge and has a plethora of options and usually stocked up unlike the other BBB outlets. Everything here is so well organized and the staff is super helpful.
The shower curtain section here is a delight. They have multiple curtains and matching bath items - soap dispenser, bath mat, brush holder, waste basket placed together.
BBB prices in general are higher than prices on other online sites. So, we usually come here for deciding on what brand to buy from all options laid out categorically and buy the same brand on other online sites if cheaper. The greatest advantage of coming here is that you have all possible options for an item in front of you to choose from, helping you decide on what brand to buy. Don't forget to create a BBB account for discount coupons.
Muji has a wonderfully soothing ambiance enhanced by its muted colors, the soft music playing in the background, and essential oil diffusers. The merchandise - ranging from pens to clothes to bedding - is simple and quality, though a bit pricy. I love to wander this store whenever I am in New York City.
Very relaxing place to wander around and see a variety of items, from stationary to bed sheets. The things can be a bit pricey and some parts of the store feel a bit confined, but otherwise very clean and aesthetically pleasing!
Great place to get a variety of different products from luggage to clothes.
This place has a handicapped accessible entrance and there's street parking in the area. Most easily reached by bus or Subway to Tomes Square.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Merchandise is layed out in an easy to find way and the aisles have ample room for you to shop.
I've been to less than clean hole in the wall joints that have been absolutely exceptional and Mendy's is not one of them. Bland food, un-attentive staff - one even had a hole in his disposable rubber gloves as he prepped food, which looked stale and left out for far too long.
I'd complain about the outrageous prices too but hell, I wouldn't even come here if it was free. If you're hankering for a sandwich, do yourself a favor and just go to the subway next door.
One of the best business in a neighborhood. I prefer to go there for any of my home needs. Knowledgeable staff and super nice. The guy spent 20 min fixing my kid's bike today talking me through process, tools and what can work best! Plus, my kiddos love the parrot and the pig.
So my iWatch 2 stopped working right after I did the update. I call the Apple care who schedules an appointment for me at the Fifth avenue store. I come to the store and they can’t find my name. I wait for half an hour before someones comes and tell me that it’s better for me to call the Apple care again and complain to avoid paying the replacement fee. I call and a specialist named Less asked me to go back to the Fifth Avenue store and speak to Louise. I come to the store, Louise is too busy to talk to me, I waited for her for 55 minutes until I have been told that Louise left for the day. So not only my watch stopped working after doing the update but you guys keep playing with customers. This is unacceptable
I came here to get a new battery for my phone, and even though they were really busy, Crystal was extremely helpful and attentive. She took her time explaining everything related to my battery settings and all of her suggestions.
There would have been a two hour wait for the fix, so I told her I would have to come back later. She went ahead and set everything up, so all I will have to do is drop off my phone for the replacement when I have time to go back. Thank you, Crystal! Wonderful service.
A little wait because always very crowded!
Jasper who assisted us was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was patient and took the time to help us with any questions that we had. Will definitely buy direct from Apple store if given the opportunity.
Ginormous Apple store. Took an hour to be seen. Good service. Super busy. Came here to get my laptop fixed. The London store said it would take 2 weeks and 5th ave store could do it in a day. Well they quoted 3-4 days so still better than 2 weeks. Easy to find location. There’s a Starbucks across the street if you want and the food court at the Plaza helps if you are hungry while you wait.
Laura and her team put together absolutely beautiful arrangements for my December wedding. Laura understood my vision from the very beginning and did a great job of building on it to make everything even more amazing than I could have pictured! My bouquet, 11 bridesmaids' bouquets, 10 boutonnieres and 2 wristlets were perfectly arranged and captured the holiday-wedding spirit. We had high and low centerpieces that guests were raving about (and taking!). Evergreens, reds, whites, maroons, with touches of silver and lanterns that were exactly what I had wanted. Laura even went above and beyond to create a wood structure with lights and organza that stood behind us during our ceremony and then later behind our sweetheart table. I gave her a brief idea of what I had been thinking, but she made it absolutely perfect. Laura was absolutely fantastic to work with and has such vision. I can not recommend her and her team highly enough!
I got married two weeks ago and worked with Jennifer who was absolutely amazing. We sent her some pictures of styles we liked for the bouquets and traditional garlands and what she pulled together was beyond our expectations. In addition, the night before the ceremony we needed some last minute table arrangements, not only was she able to answer our emails she was able to pull through with gorgeous centerpieces. I highly recommend Laura Clare Designs (ask for Jennifer) and will definitely be using them for our reception later this year.
LOVE Laura Clare. We got married June 2012 at Natirar in New Jersey and Laura made everything look magnificent. The chuppah, the entrance ways, escort table, the table-scapes, and the overall aesthetic were much more than we had envisioned and expected.
Laura was incredibly helpful at every turn and her warmth and wealth of knowledge made working with her such a pleasure. She's patient and has a high get-it factor. Clearly the proof is in the pudding and the wedding looked beautiful ... her work was spot-on.
...I want to share one quick anecdote that I think exemplifies the level of service you get with Laura... Leading up to the wedding, Laura took a trip out to our wedding venue, brought sample candles, and tested which were more likely to be blown out when the breeze from the AC kicked in. The appropriate candle and glass cover was ordered for our final table arrangements based on her experiment. ...there were countless examples of this same, thoughtful approach throughout the planning and execution process.
This place was actual hellllllll I took my kids in there for two seconds and nearly had a panic attack cus you couldn't breathe over the stinch in the store due a lack ventilation and no a .c on 95 degree day.... the two men in there are unfriendly cold and not interest past ringing u up for whatever u already know you want to buy. Lets go back to how grossssssss the place is that it should be reported my chest started closing up on me cus I could not come up for air from how humid and full of moldy feces stinch the place was filled with. All the animals are literally just piled up on top of each dogs and bird and fish all up on eachother and grossssssss looking pets like they look like animals that need to be rescued . I'm still having a heart attack over how grossly these poor animals are being kept be ware people don't go here can get u sick !!!
This place is disgusting Smells like urine and feces that's been just sitting all day long!! Dogs are super cute but all look sick and sitting in tiny cages in there own faces. This place should really be shut down.
All sick puppy mill dogs!! Ask to see where they keep their puppies? The basement is like something from a horror movie!!! Unsold puppies spinning around in circles from being locked up!!your money funds this every time you buy!! You want to buy a dog go where you can see the mom and dad and where they are kept! I’ve seen these dogs arrive in box trucks from puppy mills! Dogs I. Shelters need homes!! For every breed there are rescue groups.. but again if you insist on buying take my advice! Look up Amish puppy mills!
This place is so dirty and smells like it has no air circulation or anything. The cages for the birds are dusty and appear to have lots of dirt or mold behind them on the walls. I feel awful for those poor animals in there.
Any pet store can smell but they shouldn't! It needs shut down and those animals taken to a better store. Very disappointed that a store can remain open in such poor conditions.
Anyone giving this a poor rating is clueless. The management of this shop care deeply about animals and has done rescues and assisted in rescues. It's no longer legal in New York City to sell cats in pet stores so anyone complaining needs to take it to the mayor. The animals here are well cared for and adopted out quickly to good homes. The people who work there trip over themselves to help people and will order what you need and give advice. If you want some glitzy boutique there are plenty. If you genuinely care about animals you will give your business to this shop and maybe talk to the people there and learn before bashing the business online.
