We came here on recommendation of an old guide book. We're so glad we did! It was Monday evening and the restaurants were not busy at all. The atmosphere was quiet, relaxed and so cozy!
The only wait staff they had was a very friendly lady. She was very awesome! She genuinely wants to know how things are and how we're all doing.
We had the kahuna burger - seriously good! Also the veal with cucumber sauce. It sounds weird, but all the flavors of the dish mesh together in perfect melody. It was a taste sensation!
Be sure to drop by here when you're in town!
This was a sad Christmas dinner. Very absent and slow service, the food was not restaurant worthy and the prices pretty high. In addition they were out of a lot of beers and weren't able to properly match beers to food, as they claim to do as a specialty. I hope they are doing better outside the Christmas season, because this was not worth neither the time or the money. Oh, I just remembered - I asked for more pepper, since the shaker was empty. The waiter then brought both a salt and a pepper shaker to the table. There was pepper in one of them, but the salt one he brought was already empty. At that point we were just "enjoying the show" to see what would happen next.... :-)
