Location is excellent and within walking distance to the train. Oprah house and the National Theater.
Even though it’s an old building they have added some modern touches. Most important the beds are ridiculously comfortable.
The pool is very trendy with cool lighting and is next to the spa.
WiFi was decently fast and I was able to stream content.
Lastly the breakfast was fantastic. Lots of fresh and healthy choices
The best hotel in Oslo - and quite expensive. Lots of history and a wonderful breakfast buffet. There were a couple of things that were not ok, given what we paid: We were frequently bothered significantly by a slamming service door - late at night as well as early morning - sometimes waking us up. Additionally, maid service got to our room after 4pm several days. I don't know the routine of other people, but we typically go sightseeing from early morning until a bit after mid afternoon, after which we like to relax a bit and freshen up before dinner - it would have been nice if our rooms had been attended to during the approximately 7 hours we were out.
Beautiful lobby, really nice service in the restaurant and in the cafe. A little glitch at checkin (room was not ready after check-in time) but besides that a nice experience. The room itself was clean and well-equipped.
We are staying here as part of a tour of Norway and this hotel is very nice. Good location and walking distance to many nearby attractions. Breakfast was the beast I have ever had at any hotel. So many options and lots of food. Service is outstanding Highly recommended.
