Quick, cheap, tasty, and large pizza slices. Know what you want before you get to the counter and have your money ready. They are very busy but move very quickly. Friendly and professional. There is seating but it is limited and cramped so its best to just grab a slice on the go.
Loved it. Wanted to sample a classic NYC slice and this kept coming up on my list of recommendations. Took the subway (station is just 30 secs walk from the store) in the morning and grabbed a couple of slices to eat in the park across the street. Nothing fancy, just perfect pizza, from the crust to the cheese to the sauce.
Well I gotta say. The line is out the door of this very small place (one small round table with no chairs in the middle and stools / ledges to eat on).
The pizza slices aren't that big and there doesn't seem to be enough cheese on the slices I've been getting. The sauce is pretty plain too.
They do char the bottom of the slices so they are blackened. This does seem tasty but it's not really healthy or the sign of great slice.
I am somewhat disappointed in it but I guess it's 3-1/2 stars overall. No real dining experience and good but not really amazing slices.
